PP-19-01 «Vityaz» submachine guns

РР-19-01 Vityaz submachine guns, developed by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, are chambered for 9x19 mm rounds.
They can fire 7N21, 7N31 and other foreign- and Russian-made 9x19 mm cartridges.
The design of the submachine gun is standardised with that of the AK-74M assault rifle and the PP-19 Bszon-2 submachine gun by more than 70 per cent. The PP-19-01 Vityaz submachine gun was developed under the Baskanets project.
A flash suppressor is attached to the muzzle, which can also be filled with an expansion silencer. The submachine gun is blowback-operated.
The gun is fitted with a notched bar rear sight. Optical, collimatoror night sights can be mounted either on a rail on the left side of the receiver, or the Picatinny rail on the receiver cover.
Ammunition feed is from a detachable curved box magazine. Magazines can be dapped on pars for faster reloading.
The submachine gun is equipped with a left-folding metal frame bull-stock.. The pistol grip, the fore-grip, and the receiver cover are made of moulded black polyamide. The submachine gun can be fitted with an extra forward grip, a laser target designator, or a spotlight.
